HON 201 - Interpreting the Arts

This course examines the purposes and development of art, music, film, theater dance, and writing within their historical and cultural contexts. Students will consider how the fine and performing arts evoke a sense of, or respond to, the cultures and experiences that give rise to them.Note: The course may be organized around a unifying topic.
