HIS 331 - Twentieth Century Russia

3 Credits

Political, social, economic development from the reign of Nicholas II to the present with particular emphasis on the Russian Revolution and formation of Stalin’s totalitarian regime.
Prerequisite: 1.) advanced class standing and a previous course in the area; or a general level of competence indicated by three previous courses in the social sciences and/or humanities 2.) seminars and colloquia require the permission of the instructor.
