GEO 475 - Geochemistry 3 Credits
A study of the chemical composition of the earth and how it changes
in space and time. Topics include the use of isotopes for dating
natural substances, applications of thermodynamics to natural water
chemistry, and the chemical processes involved in the formation of
minerals and rocks. Prerequisite: CHE 341 or GEO 310. Hours (Three lectures.) When Offered: Spring
