ART 408 - Graphic Design II

3 Credits

An advanced studio course for graphic design majors in which students work within a microcomputer environment to prepare tight comprehensive mechanicals for use in lithographic, intaglio, or screen reproduction process. Emphasis is placed on the creative use of type, spot color, line art, and continuous tone imagery in the creative solution to problems found in industry.Note: The critical appraisal of work and oral presentation of arguments in critiques are required.
Prerequisite: ART 308.
