ART 354 - Art in America I

3 Credits

Following a survey of Native American arts, developments in architecture, crafts, sculpture, painting, and graphic media are studied from Colonial times until c. 1900. To understand the works in the context of the culture, literature, ideas and social history are considered.
Prerequisite: ART 250 and 251, or instructor permission.
