ECO 341 - The Political Economy of Financial Crises This course deals with financial crises, particularly those affecting the United States and with special emphasis on the most recent crisis. We will study their causes, policy responses, and consequences, from the perspectives of economists, political scientists, and historians, as well as journalists, finance professionals, and others.
Prerequisite: ECO 101 or 115 or 120 or 151 or 200, or instructor permission.
Advisement recommendation: Completion of all General Education Basic Skills and Knowledge Foundations courses.
