Program Description
This program will extend your specialized professional abilities to maximize learning for students with mild, moderate and severe disabilities in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 general education classrooms. Courses and integrated experiences will increase your understanding and utilization of research- based practices in literacy, specialized instruction, assessment, data-based decision making, collaboration, positive behavior interventions, and assistive technology for a wide range of learners.
Note: This is a Master’s program for individuals who hold an initial Students with Disabilities teaching certificate.
