Program Description

The Master of Science in Education degree, major in Business and Marketing Education (all grades), is designed for generalists in the respective field that wish to gain initial certification to teach their subject area in New York State. Admission requires 30 college credits in a variety of Business and Marketing areas as mandated by NYS for teaching certification.

Comprehensive Exam: Prior to the completion of the MSEd degree, candidates will successfully complete the Graduate Comprehensive Exam. Please note that this exam is required of all degree candidates. The exam is administered online once each semester, usually on a Saturday. There is no cost for the exam. The exam consists of multiple choice and essay questions taken from the coursework that candidates have completed during their studies.
