The Educational Leadership program is in the Educational Administration Department, which is one of six departments in the School of Education. Visit the program admissions page to apply.
Program Description
The Certificate of Advanced Study is a post-graduate program leading to both School Building Leader and School District Leader New York State certifications. These certifications will enable graduates to secure any leadership job in P-12 schools in New York State. Coursework is on a part- time basis and candidates complete the program in two years. The program is a combination of coursework and field experiences (internship) that candidates complete outside of the P-12 school day because candidates are working full time in schools in their teaching and pupil personnel certification area(s).
