Program Information
Education Administration Department
The Certificate of Advanced Study is a post-graduate program leading to both School Building Leader and School District Leader New York State certifications. These certifications will enable graduates to secure any leadership job in P-12 schools in New York State. Coursework is on a part- time basis and candidates complete the program in two years. The program is a combination of coursework and field experiences (internship) that candidates complete outside of the P-12 school day because candidates are working full time in schools in their teaching and pupil personnel certification area(s).
