The graduate certificate in Health and Wellness is a twelve-credit, non-degree certificate that focuses on assessing personal health risk factors, understanding theories of behavior change, and developing wellness plans and strategies to promote personal well-being. The SUNY Oswego Graduate Certificate in Health and Wellness offers experiential and academic opportunities to study health and wellness concepts. This certificate is based on the growing awareness of the mind-body connection and the impact on ones health. Courses are offered at Oswego’s main campus or can be taken 100% online. Typical time to completion is one year of part-time study. The certificate does not prepare students for licensure in the professions but instead provides a rich training experience for graduate students and professionals in a variety of health-related service fields.
