PHY 435 - Computational Physics This course provides an introduction to standard numerical techniques for problem solving in physics. Programming languages (such as C++ and JAVA) and computer algebra system software (such as Maple) are used to generate the numerical solutions. Representative problems from dynamics, oscillatory motion, and quantum mechanics are featured.
Prerequisite: PHY 314 and MAT 240. When Offered: Not on a regular basis Credit: 4
