ART 498 - Internship This course is designed for students who wish to take part in a semester-long experiential learning program in some art related endeavor as professionals in a production with professional artists in industry or business, or in situations which will best utilize their artistic abilities and expertise in the selected area.
Note: Variable credit 1-9. repeatable four times for a total of 15 credits Prerequisite: GPA of 3.0, upper-division standing.
Acceptance of experience through EXCEL: Experiential Courses and Engaged Learning, an approved position description filled out by Site Supervisor and permission of the student’s major academic advisor and sponsoring faculty member. Clear learning objectives and academic assignments appropriate for the position and credits being earned. When Offered: Not on a regular basis Credit: 1-9
