ART 250 - Western Heritage I - Survey of Art I

This course surveys art and culture from prehistory to the Gothic period through a global perspective, concentrating on architecture, ceramics, drawing, painting and sculpture. Works of art will be discussed in terms of style, content, media and technique, time period and social context.
