HIS 379 - History in Video Games The course is an interdisciplinary approach to the relationship that exists between history and computer games. It is a connection increasingly becoming all the more relevant as computer game developers seek or claim historical accuracy for their creative endeavors. In as far as computer games can deepen our understanding of the past, this course aims to provide a foundation for thinking critically about why and how history is used in computer games. A second objective involves the study of business and cultural trends in the computer game industry.
