ANT 338 - Prehispanic Civilizations of Mesoamerica This course includes a thorough introduction to the current history of Mesoamerica and its major civilizations based on archaeology, art history, and ethnohistory. Emphasis is placed on the use of archaeological data and models to make inferences about Mesoamerican history. This course will also include in-class activities designed to give students first-hand experience in interpreting archaeological evidence.
Prerequisite: Upper division standing; or instructor permission. Offered: Not on a regular basis. Credit: 3
