SPE 304 - Educational Planning for Students with Disabilities This course provides an introduction to federal laws and state regulations for educating students with disabilities. Characteristics of various disabilities will be presented with a focus on educational implications. Course content will emphasize effective strategies for meeting individual student needs within the regular classroom (e.g., curriculum, instruction and assessment practices for diverse groups, collaboration with special education teammates).
Prerequisite: EDU 301. Offered: Fall, Spring Credit: 3
