ART 351 - Northern Renaissance Art Art of northern Europe from the fourteenth through the sixteenth centuries. Painting, sculpture, and printmaking are discussed. The major themes are: form and content as they relate to court and bourgeois patronage; the interchanges between northern and southern Renaissance artists; and the continuity between Gothic art and northern Renaissance art.
