ART 401 - Figure Drawing III

An advanced level studio course focused on drawing the human figure with a variety of conceptual approaches and media. The course will develop an advanced approach and investigation in the discipline of artistic anatomy. The course will analyze and expand traditional as well as contemporary concepts in figure drawing. Emphasis is placed in the analysis and understanding of the three-dimensional human body and its translation on to the two-dimensional surface.

Prerequisite: ART 400 or instructor permission.
