MAT 108 - Number Systems and Operations B

2012-2013 Catalog Year

The second part of the sequence MAT 107/MAT 108, which is equivalent to the 4-credit MAT 106. Designed for prospective teachers, to develop understanding of elementary school mathematics: rational number arithmetic, proportional thinking, number theory, integers, initial algebraic concepts, problem solving. Meets 3 hours weekly.
