MAT 107 - Number Systems and Operations A

The first part of the two-semester MAT 107/MAT 108, which is equivalent to the 4-credit MAT 106. Designed for the prospective teacher, to develop understanding of elementary school mathematics: whole number arithmetic, numeration, sets, place-value in various bases, functions, and problem solving.

PREREQ: Minimum score of 18 on the Math Proficiency Exam.
NOTE: Restricted to Childhood Education majors only.
