PSY 363 - Cognitive Neuroscience 2009-2010 Catalog Year
Cognitive Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary exploration of the
relationship between the brain and cognitive processes. Through the
review of current research in cognitive neuroscience and case
studies of patients with neurological damage, the brain mechanisms
underlying cognition will be explored. Emphasis will be placed on
the higher cognitive processes such as pattern recognition, memory,
language, and consciousness.
PREREQ: PSY 100 or BIO 101 or instructor permission. OFFERED: Irregular CREDIT: 3
