Global Political Economy Concentration (24-39 credits)


B. Elective Requirements 18 cr


Consists of courses focused on the world economy including the study of structures of interdependence, multinational corporations, global financial institutions, international business, as well as socio-economic issues such as poverty, development, hunger, and energy.
Select six courses, under advisement. Courses must be taken from at least three departments.

C. Cognate Requirements 0-15 cr


  • Intermediate (202) level competency in a foreign language of the region under advisement credit 0-12
  • Any approved computer and information literacy course -OR- passing the computer literacy competency exam credit 0-3
