CRJ 365 - Introduction to Criminal Law A study of basic criminal law principles with special emphasis on the criminal law in New York State. Crime, punishment, mental culpability, and defenses (intoxication, mistake, insanity) will be discussed, using a general procedural framework beginning with arrest and culminating in the appellate process.
