MBA 530 - Employment Law 3 Credit(s)
Employment Law addresses the laws and legal issues governing the
employment relationship in the U.S. The majority of the course will
cover different types of discrimination in the workplace including
race, color, gender, religion, national origin, disability and age.
Other topics will include issues concerning the commencement of the
employment relationship, like negligent hiring and employee status;
issues occurring during employment, for example, employee privacy
and on the job injuries; and termination of employment (e.g.,
employment-at-will). Prerequisite admission to program or permission of department. When Offered Irregular
