Program Description
The Public Accounting MBA combines a focus on technical accounting skills and the development of management and leadership abilities. Building on an undergraduate degree in accounting, students learn how to communicate financial information to stakeholders, and make strategic decisions in complex business environments. They also develop strong critical thinking and decision-making skills that are essential for navigating the challenges of the accounting profession. The degree supports the fulfillment of New York State’s 150 credit hour education requirement for the Certified Public Accountant license.
