Psychology/Human Computer Interaction – BA/MA

A. Requirements–Undergraduate (39 cr)

• PSY 100 - Introduction to Psychology Credit: 3
• PSY 111 - Seminar in Psychological Science Credit: 1
• PSY 280 - Analysis of Psychological Data Credit: 4
• PSY 290 - Research Methods in Psychology Credit: 4

• Select one of the following two courses:

• CSC 212 - Principles of Programming Credit: 3
• COG 212 - Programming and Problem Solving Credit: 3
• Breadth Courses credit: 15
• Take 15 credits, at least 12 of which must be upper division.
• Select 9 credits from the Depth Courses at the 400-level to serve as the Capstone Sequence. A maximum of 3 credits from
  PSY 498 can be counted towards the Capstone Sequence.

 

Note:  The psychology core courses, PSY100, 280 and 290 must be taken sequentially.  A grade below C- must be repeated in all courses credited to the major; each of these courses which is a prerequisite for another course in the program must have a C- or better grade attained before taking the course for which it is a prerequisite.


Students can only take either PSY200 or PSY320 to be counted towards the Psychology major/minor.
