Biology/General Science Extension Concentration for Adolescence Education 7-12 Major* (67- 73cr)
A. Core Requirements (15 cr)

- Area Electives—At least two courses from Area 1 and at least one course from each Area 2 and 3 (12-16 cr)
- Free Electives—Biology/Zoology under advisement, to reach 21 credits (5-9 cr)

*Adolescence Education Major requirements can be found in the Curriculum and Instruction Department listings.
*BIO 101, 203, 207, 211 and 492 may be used in the Adolescence Biology concentration electives; however, they are not approved electives for a double major in Biology. BIO 370 and ZOO 330 can not both be used as an elective.

Note:
Candidates who seek to transfer within the college to a Biology major must meet with the advisement coordinator. Such a candidate must have completed CHE 111, MAT 120 or 210, and ENG 102, each with a C- or better, and have an overall Oswego GPA of 2. 5 or better.
