Candidacy

Candidates accepted into the Health Education Grades K-12 must apply for Degree Candidacy after completing 12-18 credits in the program. Any coursework taken in excess of 18 credits without candidacy is liable to forfeiture.  An overall cumulative average of 3.0 or better is required to qualify for degree candidacy as well as meeting program specifications, such as professional development and conditional acceptance requirements. The Degree Candidacy Application is submitted to the Graduate Studies Office and subsequently sent to the appropriate department for review.
