The NBPTS acknowledges high quality teachers by awarding them NBPT Certification. This program starts candidates on the path toward NBPT Certification.

In keeping with the SUNY Oswego School of Education Conceptual Framework, the MSED Curriculum and Instruction program strives to strengthen candidate’s knowledge, skills, and dispositions in the areas of content expertise, teaching practice, analytic reflection, productive collaboration, and timely leadership so that they can effectively develop authentic learning experiences and work for social justice in all of their professional activities.
