PSY 207 - Culture, Identity, & K-Pop
From BTS to Squid Game, Korean media has become an inescapable part of the American cultural landscape. This class will examine various cultural and identity topics through the lens of K-media, including psychological development, racial and ethnic identity, diasporic issues, cultural appropriation, bias/racism, social justice movements, beauty norms, mental health, fandom culture, and more!
Prerequisite: PSY 100 (Minimum Grade C-); or instructor permisison.
