KOR 102 - Elementary Korean 2 Elementary Korean 2 (KOR102) is the second part of the introductory Korean language course, specifically designed for individuals who have completed KOR 101 or possess a similar level of proficiency. Within this course, students will continue to build a strong foundation in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, all while delving into the cultural backdrop.
Throughout the duration of this course, students will acquire the ability to partake in genuine conversations within intricate social scenarios, including interactions with friends, seeking and giving directions, making purchases in stores, and placing orders at restaurants, among other situations.
Prerequisite: Students are required to successfully complete KOR101 or demonstrate an equivalent level of proficiency in Elementary Korean. If necessary, students can contact the instructors to request a placement test to assess their readiness for the course. The placement test will be taken with both a written portion (the final exam of KOR 101) and an oral test using the conversation sets from the last unit of the KOR 101 textbook; or instructor permission.
