ART 377 - Medieval Images of Death
Illustrations of death in the Middle Ages have captured the attention of popular culture from fine arts to video games. This course will explore these images in art and architecture while addressing the production of collective memory as it relates to religion, philosophy, politics, gender, and familial and societal norms.
Prerequisite: ART 250 or ART 251 and sophomore standing; or permission of the instructor.
