BRC 429 - Multimedia News/Sports III

This advanced course serves as the culmination of the broadcast and digital journalism sequence, transforming the classroom into a fully functioning newsroom. Building on skills developed in Multimedia News/Sports I and II, students will apply advanced storytelling techniques to produce original content for weekly live broadcasts, digital platforms, and social media. Students will assume various newsroom roles, such as reporters, producers, editors, and social media managers, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of content creation and distribution. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, deadline management, and producing high-quality, audience-focused news and sports coverage. This course provides a robust experiential learning opportunity, preparing students for careers in multimedia journalism.
