Initial study of curriculum and methods of instruction in science for grades 7-12 including: state and national learning standards; instructional decision-making; learning theories; curricular content; fostering growth of diverse students, students with special educational needs, and English learners; technology to support learning; and field-based investigations.

Prerequisite: ADO 594, EDU 501, LIT 507
