ADO 514 - English/Language Arts Methods A

Initial study of curriculum and methods of instruction in English Language Arts for grades 7-12 including the following: state and national learning standards; instructional decision-making; learning theories; curricular content; fostering growth of diverse students, students with special educational needs, and English learners; technology to support learning; and field-based investigations.

Prerequisite: ADO 594, EDU 501, LIT 507.
Co-requisite: ADO 515 and ADO 595
