ANT 308 - Anthropological Theory, Part I


The first of two courses that together provide a systematic review of major anthropological theories from the origins of the discipline to today. This course focuses on the intellectual and social origins of anthropology and its early theoretical frameworks from antiquity to the 1960s

Prerequisite: ANT 112 (minimum grade of C-); or instructor permission.
