ANT 319 - Database Design and Mgmt


This course includes a thorough introduction to the design and management of databases in social sciences and humanities. Emphasis is placed on applying basic principles of flexible database organization, avoiding common pitfalls, and creating a database. This class will give students first-hand experience with archaeological and museum collections database examples.

Prerequisite: SUS 115 or ANT 111 or ANT 112; or instructor permission.
