THT 380 - Stage Combat

This course instructs students in how to safely create the illusion of violence for stage and screen. Students learn the basics of unarmed and weaponed combat as need and availability allow. Emphasis is placed on actor safety, script interpretation, and acting the violence.

Note: Repeatable for a maximum of 6 credits.
Prerequisite: Junior class standing; or instructor permission.
