SUS 310 - GIS mapping, methods, & SUS This course introduces geographic information systems using open source tools to discover and analyze sustainability issues and challenges. Students will practice: 1) the basics of GIS tools to map and to visualize data; 2) critical thinking skills to evaluate maps and visualizations; and 3) methodological skills for project design and data collection.
Prerequisite: SUS 115 or GEO 115 or sophomore standing; or instructor permission. When Offered: Not on a regular basis Credit: 3
