PSY 469 - Sexual Disorders and Deviance This course examines the concept of deviant human sexuality and how it contributes to general psychological health as well as behavioral disorders. Students will be exposed to topics such as the development of general human sexuality, various methods of sexual expression, the different classifications of deviant sexual disorders (e.g., pedophilia), and their assessment, treatment, and/or prevention. Students will be required to think critically about these issues for class assignments.
Prerequisite: PSY 290 (minimum grade C-) and PSY 350 (minimum grade C-); or instructor permission. When Offered: Not on a regular basis Credit: 3
