CRJ 413 - Criminal Profiling The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the art and science of criminal profiling, particularly regarding serial murder. Leaving this class, students should be
able to understand the basic theoretical paradigms concerning criminal behavior and how they pertain to and explain serial murder. Students should also have a deep appreciation for the history, evaluation, and application of criminal profiling techniques and how this practice is relevant to serial murder.
Prerequisite: CRJ 101; or instructor permission. When Offered: Spring Credit: 3
