ECE 464 - Mechatronics The course covers the fundamental skills and theory of Mechatronics, including mechanism kinematic and kinetic analysis using planar linkages. It also covers rinciples, modeling, interfacing and signal conditioning of sensors and actuators; hardware-in-the-loop simulation and rapid prototyping of real-time closed-loop computer control of electromechanical systems; modeling, analysis and identification of discrete-time systems; commonly used digital controller design methods; introduction to design and evaluate the
performance of mechatronics sub-systems. This course is taught in studio format.
