ANT 339 - Archaeology of the American Southwest This course includes a thorough introduction to the current history of the United States Southwestern Region and its major cultures and population centers based on archaeology, art history, and ethnohistory. Emphasis is placed on the use of archaeological data and models to make inferences about Southwestern history. This course will also include in-class activities designed to give students first-hand experience in interpreting archaeological evidence.
Prerequisite: Upper division standing; or instructor permission. When Offered: Not on a regular basis Credit: 3
