THT 352 - Acting Shakespeare Shakespeare’s plays offer essential training for the actor. The texts explore a great range of human character through vital, active language rooted in a specific era yet connected to contemporary performance. The study is informed by an examination of the philosophic and cultural milieu that surrounded and influenced Shakespeare’s writing.
