PSY 498 - Psychology Internship The psychology internship course provides students with an applied experience in psychology integrating practical experience in the field, professional development classroom activities, and a final paper incorporating theoretical and applied knowledge.
Note: Variable credit three to 12, not repeatable. Prerequisite: PSY 290 (C- or better) and at least 3 additional psychology breadth or depth courses (C- or better) relevant to the proposed internship and selected in consultation with the psychology internship director; Internship approval through EXCEL via an approved position description filled out by the student’s site supervisor, permission of the student’s major academic advisor, permission of the psychology internship director, 2.5 GPA, and Junior or Senior standing.
