HIS 373 - History of Mexico Beginning with a brief introduction to the country’s great pre-Hispanic civilizations, the course moves toward the creation of new societies and cultures characteristic of the colonial period. The 19th and 20th centuries will serve to discuss the political struggles over the definition of nation and citizen.
