BRC 421 - Data and Society This course examines the social impacts of digital data, looking at its multiple meanings and applications. By analyzing the datafication of our lives, the course looks at how data acts as an instrument of power that gives shape and is shaped by social, political, and economic structures.
Prerequisite: Upper division standing. When Offered: Fall Credit: 3
