HSC 521 - Advanced Health Promotion Programming Approaches
This course applies the skills and techniques required to plan and implement culturally competent health promotion programs at the community, state, and national levels. Various theoretical and practical approaches to program planning and implementation are utilized to identify public health concerns. Concepts such as needs assessments, logic models, partnership building, data collection, data analysis, and evidence-based decision-making are applied to develop community-based programming.
Prerequisite: HSC 520 When Offered: Not on a regular basis
