CED 540 - Teaching Science and Technology: Authentic Literacy and Learning

Catalog Year 2012-2013

Study of the nature of science and technology, how children learn science (including science misconceptions), and the curriculum and pedagogy appropriate for teaching science and technology to elementary children with special emphasis on integrating language arts skills into science and technology instruction.

PREREQ: Admission to MSED Initial Certification Childhood Grades 1-6 Program.
